I promise this is the last time I will talk about the Boundless article (see posts from the last 2 days).
Today the editor/writer in question posted an apology. He said that he had embarrassed himself, Boundless and Focus on the Family and that – most importantly – he had created the opposite effect in trying to encourage but ultimately degrading.
I will step on my soapbox again about this briefly. There are real people behind what you see on the outside. There are emotions and feelings and most likely a self-awareness that for some reason others think we lack. If you have never struggled, or if you have and you beat it, do not feel entitled to offer “advice.” Each persons experience is unique. Stepping down now.
